Napa County SELPA

The goal of the Napa County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) is to deliver high quality special education programs and services to students with disabilities in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible. The SELPA works collaboratively with the following districts: Calistoga Joint Unified School District, Howell Mountain Elementary School District, Napa County Office of Education, Napa Valley Unified School District, Pope Valley Union School District and the St. Helena Unified School District. The SELPA provides support to the districts in the following areas: 

• Program Development

• Program Availability for all Students with Disabilities

• Professional Development

• Parent Support and Training

• Alternative Dispute Resolution

• Interagency Coordination

• Management Information System

• Fiscal Allocation and Monitoring
