Interdistrict Transfer Agreement (English)

Interdistrict Transfer Agreement (Spanish)

CJUSD will begin accepting new interdistrict agreements for the 2025-26 school year on April 1, 2025, for both incoming and outgoing students, and will continue to do so throughout the school year. Should the district deny a request, the parent has 30 calendar days from the date of the denial to appeal the decision before the district provides a final decision.

When CJUSD receives an interdistrict agreement, the following factors are evaluated to reach a decision:

  1. Behavior

    • No referrals during the school year.

    • No suspensions during the school year.

  2. Grades

    • A minimum GPA of 2.0.

  3. Attendance

    • At least 90% attendance.

  4. Staffing

    • Staffing and class sizes are evaluated to see if we are able to meet the students' needs.

The factors listed above, if not met, may also result in the revocation of a student's interdistrict transfer permit.
