S Club Students Help with Annual Senior Luncheon

Soroptimist International of Calistoga held its 52nd annual Thanksgiving luncheon for Calistoga’s senior residents at Calistoga High School on Wednesday, November 14. CHS culinary class students worked with Ed Burke, Director of Food Services, to produce a traditional delicious turkey dinner. S Club members in their bright green T-shirts served the guests and then sat with them to share conversation. Soroptimist members decorated the tables in the multipurpose room, greeted guests, plated the meals and cleaned up. This inter-generation event was possible through the partnership between the Calistoga Joint Unified School District and Soroptimist International of Calistoga.
